9.30am – 10.00am    Quiet Prayer  (In the chapel)
Half-an-hour of mostly silent prayer, led by a member of the congregation

Thursdays

11.00am    Holy Communion   (Book of Common Prayer) (In the chapel)
On the last Thursday of the month the service includes the opportunity of individual prayer for healing

3rd Saturday of the Month

8.30am     Prayer Plus  (Prayer Meeting in the church + Breakfast in the Jubilee Hall)

Descriptions of the Services

8.00am          HERITAGE COMMUNION
A quiet, reflective service, using the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, led by a member of the clergy and lasting approximately 45 minutes .

9.30am          CONTEMPORY SERVICE AND CONTEMPORARY COMMUNION
A relaxed and more informal service lasting about an hour (slightly longer on the 2nd  and 4th Sundays, as these services include Holy Communion), making creative use of modern media. A time of sung worship, prayer, Bible talks and testimonies, to explore what God is doing in our communities and our lives today. Children stay in for part of the service, but also have activities tailored to their ages.

11.30am            CLASSIC COMMUNION
A welcoming service with traditional hymns, led by our team of organists and occasional choir. It uses ‘Common Worship’, the modern Church of England order of service, with a sermon and prayers by our robed clergy and the lay ministry team.

11.30am            MORNING PRAYER
The much-loved morning service from the 1662 Church of England prayer-book, with a sermon and prayers by our robed clergy and the lay ministry team.

6.00pm                EVENSONG
The much-loved morning service from the 1662 Church of England prayer-book, with a sermon and prayers by our robed clergy and the lay ministry team.
