SUNDAY CLUB & STREETWISE!

The Sunday Club (for children up to 9) meets each Sunday at 9.30 am (except on Family Service Sundays, which are usually the 1st Sundays of the month).

Following our start in church we divide into groups according to age, for worship, activities and fun. We want our children to enjoy sharing in the life of St John’s and to learn of God’s great love for each one of them.
Streetwise! is for children in Year 6 and upwards and meets at the same time (during the 9.30am service) for sharing, studying and fun.

There is also a crèche during the service for the very young.

PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP

We meet on Thursday mornings during school terms from 9am to 10.30am at the back of the church – young babies to four-year-olds.

Our equipment has increased since we started the Group and is appreciated by the children and parents. The children are encouraged to interact, share and play happily with an impressive variety of toys and activities. We break part-way through the morning for a shared session of healthy snacks – fruit and drinks for the children, and warm drinks for the parents: the children sit at low tables and are gently encouraged to share.

As the children love singing we bring each morning to an end with traditional rhymes, songs and actions. We promise new families the warmest of welcomes.
