The ALPHA COURSE at St John's started on Wednesday 25 January 2012 and will be meeting every Wednesday until 28 March (10 sessions), from 7.00pm to 9.30pm. There will also be an Alpha Day together in the church on Saturday 3 March - details to follow.

Saturday 11 February sees the installation of our vicar, the Revd Alyson Lamb, as a CANON OF CHICHESTER CATHEDRAL. The service takes place in Chichester Cathedral at 5.30pm, and St John's has organised a coach to take people to Chichester for this event. There are a few places left on the coach; for more details, please contact St John's Church office.

There's to be a St John's MEN'S BREAKFAST on Saturday 25 February, 8.00am, at Holywell Café, on the sea-front. Tickets are £7.50 for a full breakfast plus drink; please contact Vic Lawrence or Lee Canning (the church office has contact details) as soon as possible, as tickets are limited. This is the 1st of a series of breakfasts over the coming year.

Our home-grown choir, the ST JOHN'S SINGERS, will be leading the worship at the Choral Evensong on Sunday 25 March. There will be choir practices at 7.30pm on Thursday evenings, 1 - 22 March. Anyone who can sing in tune and enjoys singing is very welcome; please let the church office know if you hope to join the singers.
