St John’s is the local parish church for Meads, Eastbourne. We believe that God is our heavenly Father and loves all people and so we extend a very warm welcome to everyone.
We celebrate the Christian faith as revealed in the Bible and through the teaching, life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We encourage each other to recognise the work of God in the world and to live and grow in the newness of life given by the Holy Spirit. We try to show God’s love in practical ways, serving our local community and the wider world through many different projects and social initiatives.
Our pattern of worship includes both traditional and contemporary forms of service. In our preaching we always try to be relevant and topical as we apply our faith to everyday life.
